Highly Engaged Player Threshold Drops to 250
Key Takeaways
We’ve halved the Highly Engaged Player requirement from 500 to 250, allowing more of your great games to qualify while maintaining our same high bar for content safety.

Hi Creators,
Unlocking Roblox Kids and Select audiences just became much more accessible. Starting today, the Highly Engaged Player threshold has been cut in half from 500 to 250, opening the door for even more of your games.
Note: This change is to the entry bar - separate from the 25 Highly Engaged Player maintenance bar we introduced on July 16 to help already-qualified games stay in the Roblox Kids and Select catalog.
How This Fits With Recent Eligibility Changes
This is the third eligibility change to Roblox Kids and Select in the past two months. Here’s the full picture:
• July 6: We relaxed the definition of a Highly Engaged Player. This increased the number of new games entering the catalog by 33%.
• July 16: We lowered the maintenance bar from 100 to 25 Highly Engaged Players, so qualifying games stay in the catalog longer.
• August 19: The entry threshold drops from 500 to 250.
How to Check Your Progress
• Open Creator Hub and select your game.
• Go to the Audience Reach tab.
• Review your current Highly Engaged Player count against this new threshold.
We’re committed to continuing to lower the barrier to entry and bring more great games into Roblox Kids and Select over time. We’ll keep sharing updates as new changes roll out.
