We want the Creator Store to be a place for discovering high-quality community resources and have been working to curb spam and abuse through the asset marketplace. For example, we recently introduced a sandboxing feature to prevent unwanted scripts from secretly executing in your games, which has significantly curbed the success rate of backdoor models on Store. We’re still seeing a high volume of spam published every day, so we’re adjusting our eligibility criteria to make it harder for bots and repeat offenders to publish spam. We’ll be updating the eligibility criteria on Wednesday, August 26.
New Creator Store Eligibility Criteria
Our new publishing requirements will help authentic creators stand out while making it significantly more difficult for bad actors to bypass our systems and publish spam to the asset marketplace. Starting next week, your account will need to meet the new minimum account verification requirements in order to publish assets to the Creator Store.
To reduce re-upload spam from bad actors, all distributors will need to:

Pass an Age Check (or ID Verify),
•
Be in Good Standing with no recent moderation violations, and
•
Use an account that is at least 2 days old.
In addition, when selling Models and Plugins:
• Sellers will now be required to set up 2-Step Verification (2SV) to keep your earnings and account secure.
• All sellers are still required to ID Verify (automatically counts as an Age Check) and reside in a supported country. You will NOT need a Plus subscription to sell assets on the Creator Store.
