Hi Creators,
We’re introducing new user-level moderation actions to reduce server shutdowns. By targeting specific policy-violating players, we keep your games running smoothly for the rest of your players.

We recently introduced real-time multimodal moderation, a system that uses AI models to simultaneously scan avatars, text, and 3D objects across an entire scene to detect violations. When repeated violations are detected, we shut down the specific server instances where the activity occurred, rather than taking down your entire game.
What’s Changing
Now we’re going further: we’re able to identify violating users with greater confidence and act on them directly. We’re transitioning to user-level actions to reduce server shutdowns. For some games, this has already reduced server shutdowns by 15%, and we expect this number to grow as this feature rolls out. We’ve also built in protections that account for hacked clients and griefing too.
How User-Level Actions Work
• When a violating avatar is detected, the user is removed from the game.
• When multiple users are found engaging in violative behavior together, they are removed as well.
• Removed users are blocked from rejoining the game for up to 5 minutes.
• Our goal is to take action against bad actors without disrupting the game for everyone else.
